"If we ever forget that we're one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under."

“Most people still believe that America is the land of the free, but things are changing. America has become a nation that, as often as not, protects the freedom to do evil as much as the freedom to do good, because we no longer know the difference.”

— The late Dr. Walter Martin

I apprehend no danger to our country from a foreign foe, for there is no nation on Earth powerful enough to accomplish our overthrow. Our destruction, should it come at all, will be from the inattention of our people to the concerns of their government - from their carelessness and neglect.”

- Daniel Webster

"It makes no sense to fight terrorists abroad

when our own front door is left unlocked."

- Congressman Ron Paul. M.D.

A Leader's Mindset

To be a leader, you must think as a leader thinks...so we revisit these thoughts often:

  1. Understand your purpose. If you don’t know why you are doing something, you will eventually stop doing it. So ask yourself, is it self-fulfillment, a new car, a new house, a new life? Remind yourself often what it is.
  2. Do what you must do, then do a little bit more.  Even if the worst happens, you will still meet your baseline goal.
  3. If you can’t lead one, you can’t lead many. Ask yourself, “Would I want to be managed by me?” If the answer is no, fix your leadership style now.
  4. There are two ways to build your team – fast or slow. Faster is easier, more fun, and has better financial rewards...so build and train more today.
  5. Don’t just recruit, but sponsor and train. Sponsorship = Responsibility, so do all you can to empower your people to succeed.
  6. Work WITH your team and not FOR them. Teach them to train their contacts how to fish, and end proverbial world hunger.
  7. Think globally. “What person do you know that lives in ___________?” Don’t just look through your back door. If there is a country or city that you have always wanted to visit, start sponsoring there NOW. You will soon have a very good reason to visit.
  8. Demonstrate by telling, not selling. People would rather see a sermon than hear one anytime, so share the information if you detect a possible need, then let them decide.
  9. Rejoice in objections and rejections from prospects. Responding to a “no, thanks” is one step closer to your next “yes.”
  10. Stay focused. Know where your goals are and get nearer to them every day. Do what you KNOW you have to do to succeed, including commitment, effort, and sacrifice. The more you show in the first month, the greater your success will be in the first year.
  11. Successful people follow successful people. Accept that principle, and you will succeed.
  12. Don’t look for leaders, become one yourself. There will ALWAYS be more room at the top than the bottom.
  13. Feed your brain and spirit with the support material that leaders need to survive. Attend the calls, attend the presentations, and get your marketing materials in order.
  14. Aim high, act fast, and don’t hesitate in doing the right thing for your people.
  15. Determine the lifestyle you want, then create it with massive action
